PA Nov Meeting - Minutes Summary

Update from the recent PA meeting held on 27th November

Emma has resigned as Treasurer. The PA thanks her for her efforts in the role as Treasurer and for the knowledge she brought to the PA. While the role is vacant, financial decisions will be passed by Eddie (in his role as BOM secretary). The PA would love to hear from volunteers willing to take over this role. Emma will provide a handover.

The PA would also appreciate help from anyone interested in volunteering for the roles of Co-Chair and Co-Secretary.

The Treasurer’s report is available to review on request.

Sally and Maura, the parents who volunteered to make ready the Parent Room in the Old Guardhouse, presented their proposal for the room. It was well received, and funds are to be made available for the purchase of furniture, etc.

A Cyber Safety parent information talk has been suggested. An email will be sent to the parent body over the next while requesting suggestions for other information talks.

The process of compiling guidelines/ manuals/ FAQ guides regarding areas of school life the parent body/ PA is involved in (e.g. ASAs, the 6th class play, school fairs) is ongoing.

There was a call out for helpers for the Winter Fair (Dec 2nd, 12-3pm). The ETHX campaign will have an info stand at it too.

The payment of teachers for After-School Activities was raised. This matter will be discussed in more detail at the next meeting.

The next PA meeting will take place on Monday 17th December at 7.30pm. All welcome.
